When I first started my blog, I was sooo overwhelmed and extremely frustrated.
I’m pretty familiar with computers. I mean, I use a computer all day for work! I design radiation treatment plans for cancer patients for crying out loud! How hard could it possibly be to put together a blog?
Turns out, there’s so many steps and things to consider!
There’s a lot of information on the web. So much so, that it just got too overwhelming.
I wanted something that was in one place and I wanted it to help me with my food blog in particular.
After searching around, I stumbled upon Food Blogger Pro. What a relief!
What is Food Blogger Pro?
Food Blogger Pro is a website that was created by the owners of Pinch of Yum! These awesome people were kind enough to put everything they know about creating a food blog on this website.
Their food blog is extremely successful, so they know a thing or two about running a food blog.
Food Blogger Pro is not just a website. It’s a community of many food bloggers all there to learn and share their knowledge about food blogging!
There’s hundreds of videos that take you through all the steps of setting up your blog. With the very active forum, you can ask questions and connect with other bloggers.
As a member, you also get exclusive discounts on tools and services specifically designed for food bloggers!
What Did I Learn?
I learned so much by being a food blogger pro member. I followed the video tutorials one by one. They cover everything and the best part is, you can re-watch them if you need to.
Here is what I found to be very helpful in starting my food blog:
- How to take better food photos. Lindsey also has a Tasty photography book that is filled with lots of tips and tricks.
- How to edit my photos in Light Room.
- How to make cooking videos with my iPhone and DSLR camera.
- How to edit my cooking videos with iMovie.
- How to use social media to help grow my food blog.
- How to use google analytics to check the traffic to my food blog.
These are just some of the things that I learned from food blogger pro. I also made lots of connections with other food bloggers who have been extremely helpful too! The active forum is full of bloggers ready to help and give advice.
Was it worth it?
Absolutely! If it weren’t for Food Blogger Pro, I would still be pulling my hair out. This is everything you need to know about starting a food blog in one place. Step by step videos and a place where you can connect with so many other food bloggers. I got sooo much out of my membership and it was a very valuable investment.
So how do I sign up?
